Critical Thinking

In our life there are many critical thinkers but the question is that how you know if you critical thinker or not? First you should examine your assumptions and believes. Also you should listen carefully and support your talk by evidences. Most of the critical thinkers are curious. The sample definition of critical thinking is how you prove you talk and it is higher level of thinking. Critical thinking helps to analyze and understand the problems. If you want to be a critical thinker you should ask questions, listen carefully, find solutions and believe what you say. Finally we must know that any body can be critical thinker.

Alcohol (Argument)

Alcohol affects the mind and causes many problems for humans. In many parts of the world there are some governments that ban alcohol in public areas and also when you driving. There are some people that say we must ban alcohol and the other side says that we should not ban it. I will look at both sides and I'm strongly believed that we must ban alcohol.

Some people say that if ban alcohol this means you want billions of people around the world to became criminals and create biggest black market the same as what happened in the USA when they banned alcohol. Also they think that the problem it not alcohol but the problems it's only the people who abuse it. Also when you banned alcohol that mean there are thousand of people who work in alcohol industry they will be without work for example in Mexico there are more than 500 thousand work in the alcohol industry. Finally they think that people are responsible and no problem if we make it legal.

The other side says that many people lose their families,
jobs and marriages due to alcohol. Also alcohol is a contributory factor to huge crimes like what happened in USA when some student killed their friends in the park of his college because he was drunk. There are many deaths and serious injuries caused by drunk drivers because when the person drinks alcohol he can't concentrate when he drives. Also we must know that alcohol damage the mind and causes al lot of problems for the human body. Finally there are many alternatives jobs for those who work in the alcohol industry.

In conclusion, I think we must ban alcohol because it causes a lot of problems for humans and also effect health. We can face the difficulties which will come from the banning of alcohol.

Solutions for Carbon Footprint

There are many solutions to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide. First, we can find alternative for cars for example walk or ride a bike to reduce carbon which come from cars. We can also use filters for factories and but a strong punishment for those factories which don’t use filters. Also the government should reduce the numbers of factories and cars to protect the environment. On the other hand we can use the development of technology to converts carbon dioxide to bicarbonate ions which is not harmful to environment. We can buy more seasonal food instead of processed food.

How to measure the carbon footprint ?

After I measured my footprint I found that I need four planets to live because my footprint was 3.97. I found my percentage of food was 18% and I think this percentage it's not correct because I don’t eat organic food. Also I found 41% for travel and this is a big percentage because I have a big car. The percentage of my house it's also high because there are too many people living in it. Finally h found my percentage of stuff was 18%. I think 3.97 it's very high so I need to reduce that number and in same time reduce carbon footprint.

What is Carbon Footprint ?

A Carbon Footprint is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide. These gases effect on the atmosphere and this causes a lot of problems for environment.

There are a lot of factors which cause carbon footprint for example there are a lot of factories which cause carbon dioxide and also cars. Also Carbon footprint changes the climate which called in these days Global Warming. The amount of carbon footprint is increasing because the number of factories and cars are increasing ether and also the consuming of energy is increasing.

SMOKING

In the UAE, most of people are cigarette smokers. Some people believe that smoking must be banned or prevent in all places in Abu Dhabi. On the other hand those who smoking think that we can ban smoking in special places only. This essay will examine the agreement and disagreement of smoking in all Abu Dhabi.

There are several arguments of smoking those who believe that they can smoke in special places. They think that smoking makes them better and it is open their mind and also make them thinking better. Other smokers think that smoking make them happy and they enjoy in their time so you see them smoking in every place. Other thinks that smoking makes them adult so they smoke and that mean they grown up.

However, there are many far more convincing arguments against smoking in any where in Abu Dhabi. The first point is that smoking can causes many diseases and cause also the heart attack. Another point is that smoking cost smokers thousand of dirham monthly. Also the smoking does not affect in smokers only but also for people those who next them. Finally, smoking causes problems for all things smokers, those who are next the smoker and also the environment.

In conclusion, smokers and none smokers have their own believes and each of them think that he is correct. However, I believe that smoking should prevent in all places because we need to keep our country clean and breathe a fresh air.
