These two pie charts show the expenditure of USA family between 1990 and 2000. Overall, in 1990 food was the majority with rent and saving was the minority.
Food and rent covered the highest percentage in the amount of money spent in USA family with 35% and 27% in order. The percentage of food reduced after ten years on the other hand the percentage of rent increased until 34%. Education, Transport and Leisure are almost the same percentage of money spent in USA with 10% for Transport, Leisure and 12% for Education. The percentage of Leisure had dramatically increased after ten years. On the other hand in 2000 less spent was on Education with 8% only. The lowest percentage was for saving in both year with 6% in 1990 and 2% in 2000.
In conclusion, food and rent covered the highest percentage in both year and saving had the minority. There was a dramatic increased for Leisure in 1990 with 12% to 21% in 2000.
